Lindsay was born and raised in the land of 10,000 lakes, learning how to fly fish in the Driftless region, tributaries of Lake Superior, and urban fisheries of the twin cities. She relocated to Montana in 2020, earned her fly fishing guide license, and founded the Wade in Wellness women’s fly fish and wellness retreat and school program. Additionally, she created Fluent Movement on the Fly, a movement, mobility, and mindfulness method to support fly anglers and outdoor enthusiasts within their physical and mental pursuits in the outdoor space. She loves to teach fly fishing education, and is equally passionate about facilitating space for us to inhabit our bodies and integrate mindfulness into our fly fishing adventures. She’s thrilled to be a part of the United Women on the Fly team, where she volunteers her time as a Facebook moderator, and contributes to community outreach, event coordination, and authors blog content. When she’s not on the water she loves to hike, pedal gravel and single track, and enjoy the simple pleasures of sharing meals and spending time with friends and family.
