Safely kick off spring 2021 with investing in yourself to become a better fly caster, therefore becoming a better angler. This Gender-Inclusive Level One Outdoor Casting Clinic is open to all and geared towards the beginner fly caster with some fly casting experience. We will meet outside on a Saturday afternoon to build and solidify your fly casting foundation. Some fly casting experience encouraged.
COVID – 19 – We will follow all Washington State Covid-19 Guidelines. Fly Casting Classes will be outside, masks and social distancing will be required. All equipment will be sanitized before and after the class to ensure student/instructor safety.
The class will be taught in drills. This will allow the caster to breakdown each drill and bring practice ideas home. Each drill is directly related to a fishing situation. No equipment necessary.

The core of fly fishing is fly casting. 75% of fishing is the presentation. In order to present the fly properly an angler must have an understanding of The Principles of Fly Casting. To become a successful fly caster you must apply the Three “P”s; Practice, Patience and Persistence.
Disclaimer – This is not 1 on 1 instruction, there will be 4 fly casters each week. The instructors time will be divided evenly between all the participants. Private lessons are available. Email [email protected] for more information.
