1/9/21 – FREE Intro to Fly Fishing Online Class
January 9th 2021 – FREE “Intro to Fly Fishing” Online Class. Open to Everyone.
Join United Women on the Fly (UWOTF) for a FREE 2hr “Intro to Fly Fishing Course”. This class is geared towards someone who has never picked up a fly or has minimal amount of experience. The Intro class is an overview of the basics for getting into the sport of fly fishing. Topics Covered in the Class are: What is Fly Fishing, Fly Rod and Reel Breakdown, Fly Lines/Backing, Leader and Tippet Talk, What Equipment is Needed When Fly Fishing? Basic Knot Overview, Types of Flies (Dry, Subsurface and Streamers) and Types of Fishing Techniques.
This will be a Zoom Class with a max of 30 people. UWOTF will provide a registration link after you sign-up for the class here. We’ll have a 30min Q&A session at the end of each class. Class will start at 10am and end at 12pm PST. Instructor – Heather Hodson. Donations accepted but not required. All money will go to the direct cost of running/hosting the UWOTF Community.
