How did you learn to fly fish?
I took various 101s at local fly shops and went on a couple of guided trips where we focused on technique.
How often Do You Fish?
About once a month.
Whats the one pice of gear you can't live withought?
My sun shirts. I have a couple different types and I love them all. Free Fly, Patagonia or Simms.
What’s one habit you have on the water that you think others could benefit from learning?
Pack Snacks!!

Favorite Place to Fish?
Anywhere I get to fish with my husband or with friends.

4am. We were fishing the tides in Belize

How do you see the future of fly fishing?
I’m hopeful that other groups are putting in the work towards making our fly fishing community welcoming and inclusive for all.

What’s the one piece of advice you would give to anyone who is new to the sport of fly fishing and is just starting out?
Get out there! It’s a lot to learn so be open minded about not knowing it all. Take advantage of all of the free resources available in your community and online.
How has United Women on the Fly impacted your life/fly fishing community?
It has introduced me to great women from all over the country and opened my eyes to the biases that still exist. I’m constantly learning how to be a better person.
