In September 2020 United Women on the Fly signed the “Angling For All” Pledge with Brown Folks Fishing.  The Pledge establishes a benchmark for learning and a commitment to addressing racism and inequality in fishing and its industry.

United Women on the Fly is working to amplify the voices of underrepresented outdoors women.

When UWOTF was founded in September 2016, the goal was to connect like minded women. One of the ways we’ve been successful is by posting photos of women who anyone can relate to.  These photos have included different ages, height, body types, hair color, fly fishing experience, brands, locations, fishing techniques, fish species, etc.  UWOTF recognizes we can do more to showcase ethnicities, sexual orientation and women identification as our community grows.
